Writer. Reporter. Instructional Designer.
Hello there, and welcome to my personal website.
I’m a writer, reporter, and instructional designer that graduated from Suffolk University with a degree in journalism.
- PRESENT -
I currently work as an instructional designer for Everbridge. There I develop, design, and create e-learning courses and curricula, instructional videos, and simulation walkthroughs with the Customer Learning team.
I also work as a part-time digital producer for WBUR - Boston’s NPR news radio station. I edit, report, write, and curate breaking news and features for WBUR’s homepage and additional sites. I work out of Wordpress, sync radio audio with posts, build out digital posts, contribute to the WBUR Today newsletter, and create the best possible journalistic homepage layout for the publication’s website.
- PAST -
I most recently worked at Johnson & Johnson, specifically as an instructional designer for the Joint Recon team with Depuy Synthes. There I designed, developed, and created internal interactive trainings. I got my start in instructional design when I was working with Toast back in 2019.
Prior to that, I was a metro reporter for the Boston Globe, covering crime, politics, and breaking news across New England. During my time at the Globe I covered a wide range of stories, including the Boston Marathon bombings, news around NFL-star Aaron Hernandez’s arrest and murder trial, and the Occupy Boston movement.
- MORE ABOUT ME -
I enjoy writing, and have a special love for penning short, fictional stories. Despite the tech job, the outdoors calls to me - specifically hiking, skiing, and camping. I (very) casually play guitar, am a diehard Bruins fan, and love a good, hazy IPA. I often find myself talking about my large, diabetic cat, Panda.
